Jøtul UK Celebrate 10 Year Anniversary

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Jøtul UK Celebrate 10 Year Anniversary Jøtul the well known leading stove manufacturer celebrates its tenth year of success in the UK this year.

Jøtul was initially introduced in the early 70’s and was the first wood burning stove brand to appear in the UK, but the real established business in its current guise made its mark from April 2000, under the driving power of its vibrant Managing Director, Nick Sloane.

Nick comments.“Wood burning has long been the preferred source of heating in many countries, with the wood burning stove the first choice to harness its benefits.

But it’s taken some time and lots of effort to really make its mark in the UK. However in the last few years with other fuel resources spiralling in costs, people are recognising not just the efficiency of the stoves, but also the carbon neutral and environmental benefits they provide.

Cast iron and steel are the perfect recycling materials and heat conductors so provide the ideal heating solution.

We still manufacture all our own products from our Norwegian foundry so the quality is the best available”.

Featured in our picture is the Jøtul F 473:

  • These stoves have a unique and beautiful teardrop shape, a large curved glass door with guillotine solution, and special details combined with exciting materials.
  • The large curved glass door gives an exceptional view to the flames because the glass extends to the sides of the stove.

The Jøtul brand has an enviable reputation for cast iron stoves and fireplaces of outstanding quality, longevity and efficiency.

Innovative designs from the classic to contemporary, appeal to discerning customers who recognise the company’s strong environmental focus, as well as the benefit in fuel savings.

A wide variety of styles from modern freestanding through to built-in models are available from its UK wide network of specialist stove dealers, who all have exceptional knowledge on the best stove to suit each customers individual requirement.

The Cove Stove

The Cove 2 multifuel stove from Charnwood

The weather forecasters are predicting the coldest winter for years, so there’s something comforting about the thought of cosy evenings around a real fire. Unfortunately, while an open fire is very attractive - it’s often not very efficient, creating draughts and losing a lot of heat straight up the chimney.

A stove on the other hand is far more efficient - especially a modern one like this brand new Cove 2 multifuel stove from Charnwood, which incorporates the latest clean-burn technologies to maximise the heat you get from your fuel.

If you choose to burn wood, you can enjoy the warmth with a clear conscience too - because wood is a renewable resource, and burning it doesn’t contribute to global warming.

With the prices of gas and oil rising sharply, this could be a great time to add a woodburning stove to your house. This Cove 2 (pictured) is rated at 8kW, and has an RRP of £1200. A Cove 3 is also available, rated at 12kW, costing £1650. Both are available in a choice of 7 colours.
