Timeless Quality In A Timeless Setting.

Timeless Quality In A Timeless Setting. This season Gant home went to Italy for inspiration.

“This latest collection consists, as usual, of two complementary yet different parts. The Gant Home City line is more sophisticated with a clean almost masculine touch, whereas the Gant Home Country line focuses more on down-to-earth patterns, checks and stripes in classic Gant style.

Between them it should be quite easy to mix and match for every and any room in the house,” says Annette Lundh, designer for Gant Home.

Gant Home City focuses on exclusivity and select materials, including cashmere and high thread count cotton, as well as superb detailing.

  • To create a modern urban feeling, refined patterns – such as classic tie prints – go hand in hand with the sophisticated and low-key blacks, whites, grays, dark blues and khakis.
  • Key pieces for this season are updated cotton pillowcases, cotton satin sheets with paisley patterns, loop knitted cushions and cozy woven throws with cashmere.

Gant Home Country in our picture, is all about timeless classics and relaxed elegance.

  • This is where colors really shine and the characteristic Gant checks and stripes have been updated.
  • It’s a more basic and simple look, but with updated styles such as madras checks and soft pastels.
  • The bandana in the classic Gant print, the denim products and the madras throws and cushions are some of the strong style elements of this line.

The tie-print bed linens are symbolic of the Gant home collection: witty and updated yet distinctive and instantly recognizable.

The emphasis is on style and quality, mixing elements from other parts of the Gant brand – and the rest of our customers’ lives with home furnishings to create a unique expression.

Daniel Croyle’s New Fabrics, Wallpaper & Furniture

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Daniel Croyle’s New Fabrics, Wallpaper & Furniture Daniel Croyle Ltd launched a brand new collection of designs at Decorex 09, inspired by the beauty of China and the simplicity of craft interwoven with a clean folk aesthetic.

After a very successful show in Birmingham in 2007 winning Best Wallpaper Design for his Charlie design, Daniel has five new fabric and four new wallpaper designs alongside an exclusive range of furniture.

All textiles and wallpapers are Hand Printed and Woven in the UK and the furniture is also produced in the UK; supporting British craft and helping reduce the impact on the environment caused by excess shipping.

On textile, Daniel brings his first woven collection headed by Shanghai Peonies (in our picture), a beautiful re-imagining of this classical flower, woven in rich colours and accented with a witty use of cross stitch, to create a traditional, yet contemporary look and feel..

The dynamic woven design Flash, is a vivid folk pattern that can be used in diverse ways. The collection is finished with Anchored Heart, a creative use of Daniel’s ‘craft style’ logo, itself taken from original Damask by him.

Daniel has transferred the charm of his peonies fabric design on wallpaper with a ‘small feathered’ surprise, to create Beijing Peonies.

Wallpaper - Beijing Peonies sold in 10M roll 68.5cm wide £69.00 per roll.

Fabric-’Flash’ Silk/Chenille woven fabric £94 per M. Prices Inc vat.

Continuing with the folk theme for this collection are two further paper designs, Andean and New Ikat, which play with their references and are displayed in flattering tones. Finally, a contemporary paper collection could not be complete without a bold stripe: Show Stripe.

Also available are two new printed designs, the classic Louis with a retro twist and Barcelona, an ultra alternative distressed design. Both fabrics are presented on beautifully hand carved chairs.

To view the complete new collection visit the Daniel Croyle website.

Wilman’s New Ocean Collection of Contemporary Fabrics

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

Wilman’s New Ocean Collection of Contemporary FabricsTaking inspiration from delicate coral reef patterns, flowing waves and rippling sand dunes, Ocean is the beautiful new collection of contemporary fabrics from Wilman Interiors.

With lightweight qualities, a gentle sheen and soothing colour options, the collection is designed to bring harmony into the home, through the calming effects of the sea.

Ocean captures the ever-changing moods of the sea, with captivating organic designs and shimmering, light-reflecting yarns; the illusionist trend of adding interest through texture, also gives the collection hidden depths.
Sculptured and moulded ruffles, tucks and pleats offer an intriguing dimension and additional tactile appeal:

The collection comprises six stunning, organic designs, in a colour palette ranging from bold and beautiful to calm and serene:

  • Soft pearls, golds and silver greys are reminiscent of the seascape at dawn, whilst high contrast burnt orange with blacks and linens, evoke the drama of the sun setting on the horizon.
  • Sharp pinks and amethysts with warm sand bring the colours of the reef into the home, whilst warm coral with taupe, captures the liveable shades of shells and pebbles.
  • Soft greens with cream is a tranquil colour option with a fresh, breezy feel.

Says Wilman Interiors design manager, Michelle Todd: “The Ocean theme is all about bringing the outside in and connecting with nature. By creating a calming, relaxed environment, we can bring harmony in to the home.”
