The newRichmond slimline ‘TV Fireplace’ has been introduced by Picture House TV Furniture, providing a great way to hide your TV.
The elegant fully functioning new fireplace hides the TV inside:
- The TV automatically lifts to viewing height when the remote is pressed; press it again and it magically disappears and the television switches off automatically to save power.
- The fireplace, which emits 2kW of heat, has a small footprint making it a perfect choice if space is restricted and there are no messy wires and cables, as they are all hidden from view. It will accept TVs up to 52in.
- Picture House’s ‘TV Fireplaces’ are environmentally friendly, as the TV is turned off when not in use and automatically turns on when it’s raised up. Since the TV is not on standby it doesn’t use any power unless it is being watched, thereby reducing the household power consumption.
- Other new designs in the Picture House portfolio include, the Corvado, the Havana and the Valenza.
Award-winning inventor and furniture designer David Free, who runs Picture House TV Furniture and presents “The Great British Woodshop” on Discovery Shed says: “My living room looked soulless with this big black box on the wall – so I came up with this idea of concealing the TV inside a working fireplace – which creates one focal point for the room.”A choice of different electric flame effect fires suitable for the fireplace is available. Prices start from £3,000.
