Improve Your Well-being – Bring the Outside Inside
In today’s chaotic world a sense of peace and harmony is more important than ever. Our environment has a considerable impact on how we think and feel and the right surroundings have the ability to help us relax, rest and refocus.
All these things enable us to be more productive, creative and improve our problem solving capabilities. So what better time than spring to freshen up a home or work environment.
A great way to create a naturally comfortable and serene environment is to get more in touch with nature.

So Sanderson…..
This year, marks the 150th anniversary of the quintessentially English brand Sanderson and what better way to celebrate than by collaborating with the country’s favourite retailer, John Lewis, which has worked closely with Sanderson to develop a beautiful collection of limited edition furniture and accessories.
John Lewis has taken its most popular armchairs Lux, Camford and Compton and upholstered them in elegant and distinctive designs, chosen from the Sanderson archive: Each armchair is not only exclusive to John Lewis, but will also be limited editions with only 50 of each design being made. Lux has been upholstered in Sanderson’s gorgeous floral Weybridge fabric, an original 1970s print, whilst the Camford features the zesty lime 1930s Swallow print. The Compton in our picture has been upholstered in Sanderson’s William Turner 1910 Roslyn fabric (indigo and gold).
Dan Cooper, upholstery buyer at John Lewis comments: “As another company with a long history in furnishing fabrics, John Lewis was delighted to work with Sanderson on this project. All the fabrics developed for the 150th anniversary event are superb as well as being perfect for anyone who appreciates a more adventurous, colourful twist on a classic.

Delightfully Delicate Pivoine From Herend
Herend has launched a new service, Pivoine, which features the flower of spring – the Peony, so popular in Chinese decorations.
Traditional Chinese thought considers the Chinese Peony the symbol of prosperity, plenty, respect and dignity. It is the un-official botanical symbol of China, a symbol of spring worldwide.
The Peony motif has been used before by Herend to great acclaim.
On this new service the Peony has the company of a playful butterfly, and both the peony and the butterfly are mostly placed at an angle rather than centrally, giving it a light and playful air.
