Millly aimed to provide a chic and tasteful design to reveal William and Kate as a contemporary couple, who are trying to take the British monarchy to a new reachable phase.

Since then, the Queen Victoria butterfly and floral pattern has grown to be a Herend hallmark design and enjoyed by a number of Royal Family generations.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were presented in April 2011 with a Herend dining-service in a contemporary version of Victoria Enamel, the first Victoria pattern. The essentials of the original unique pattern continued, but in a simplified form and in fresh soft pastel colours, more appropriate for a younger audience.
