Remotely Control Your Individual Room Heating With A Smartphone

Smart Home 1LightwaveRF, the leading UK Automation developer has introduced a new addition to its Connect series of Smart Home wireless products, which enables accurate control and monitoring of heating systems in the home, using a PC, Smartphone or Tablet.

Very soon home owners will be enabled to set-up, control and monitor their central heating boiler’s on/off times, every room temperature, or temperature of zones throughout the house via the Internet from everywhere in the world.

This new LightwaveRF Heating collection is part of the company’s Connect range of products, which consists of sockets, switches, relays and dimmers that control appliances, lighting, entertainment systems as well as nearly all electrical equipment.

The new dedicated heating devices will include thermostats, boiler controls, radiator valves all of which will be connected wirelessly and access the Internet using any broadband router.

This latest development means that home owners will find it easy to maximise their heating efficiency and cut heating costs.

Smart Home 2With the LightwaveRF Smartphone App, or computer software, heating can be switched down or off in unoccupied rooms; each bedroom temperature can be managed independently, to match normal sleeping habits and living rooms heated specifically to suit occupancy and lifestyle patterns.

The new product range will be presented at the 2014 Gadget Show Live event in April and the products will be available through Internet and retail outlets from mid-summer.
