A Star-Fluted Christmas From Royal Copenhagen
Royal Copenhagen’s beautiful, classic service, Star Fluted Christmas from 1875, oozes nostalgia and Christmas spirit: Christmas symbols twine round a green garland of spruce on the finest cream-coloured bone china. The garland decorates the edge of plates, bowls, dishes and cups, so that they are a true delight for the eye. Angels, hearts and drums are bound together with a large bow of red satin ribbon. The bow is different on each piece, so it looks as if loving hands have set their own stamp on every single one. This year a punch mug, made as a thermos mug is being introduced, so you can hold it and enjoy the hot Christmas drinks without burning your hands. There is also a beautiful and decorative tiered cake stand, which can be used for Christmas sweets and biscuits.
