The Versus Landscape Sofa
Icons of Denmark is to represent Versus in the UK on both the domestic and commercial market.
With more than 20 years experience in the upholstery business Peter Barreth and Henrik Lerche, were inspired to start a new Danish high-end product – focusing predominantly on upholstered living room furniture.
Their aim was to design and produce a wide variety of quality furniture with roots in the Danish design heritage, now realized in Versus.
Design, quality and materials are very important, as is the price. So Versus in co-operation with trusted partners and suppliers, have produced their upholstered furniture in-house.
Versus offers high quality furniture at attractive prices and all of their products are made in Denmark.
- The furniture is designed by some of the most progressive designers on the Danish design scene:
- Design Studio KiBiSi and Danish architect Bjarke Ingel are behind the â€Brick Sofa†that rethinks the entire concept of a sofa.
- Danish Morten Voss designed â€Landscapeâ€. (Pictured here) He stands out as one of the finest exponents of the new generation of Danish design talents, who dare to do their own thing and because of his autodidactic background he isn’t bound by tradition.
Versus use designers that fit their ideas about form and functionality, designed for the Danish idiom and seek a very recognizable style where – less is more.
Versus plans to launch 5 new products in 2012.
Latest addition to the collection is â€Snoopy†a unique sofa series from Iskos-Berlin, as well as a lounge sofa system from Mika Tolvanen.
A new lounge chair from KiBiSi, together with a book shelf concept by Versus, will also be introduced in 2012.
