As a parent the safety of your children is extremely important, especially in their own home; accidents can happen in a spilt second though, which is why it’s important to eliminate potential dangers.
A glancing touch of a child’s thin, sensitive skin on a conventional central heating radiator – the surface temperature of which can reach up to 70°C – can quickly cause a painful injury.
In recognition of this fact, leading heating manufacturer, Easy Heat, has unveiled a new range of Low Surface Temperature (LST) radiators, specifically designed to prevent accidental burns.
While the LST casing ensures the surface temperature never exceeds 43°C – thereby complying with strict NHS standards – the built in boiler, pump and thermostat turns each radiator into a self-contained central heating system.
Wall mounted on brackets and plugged into any 13 amp socket, the Easy Heat range requires no pipe work or boiler and can be positioned anywhere in the home.
The radiator operates via the mini boiler heating the water, which is then circulated by its internal pump; Meanwhile, an inbuilt air thermostat monitors the room and once the desired temperature has been reached, the unit switches off, thereby avoiding cold spots or overheating – vital in a child’s bedroom where maintaining the right temperature is crucial to their health.
Perfect for a nursery, bedroom or playroom, an additional benefit of the system is its whisper quiet operation, which means your child can sleep undisturbed.
When not in use, the units can be switched off completely to conserve energy.
The energy efficient and versatile wall-mounted Easy Heat radiators are available in four sizes, cost around £495 and come with an extended two-year warranty.
