The Herend Porcelain factory has created a delightful whimsical flying pig in a limited edition of 500.
In polite terms, the flying pig symbolises something that hasn’t got a hope in hell of happening.
The saying is traceable to a Scottish proverb from 1862 and was even quoted in Alice in Wonderland in circa 1865.
The Flying pig is in Herend’s popular fish scale pattern and retails at £125.00 – only available from Porcelain Herend, 81 Walton Street. London.
