Norwegian Variér Furniture has linked up with the Danish company Kvadrat, to produce a bespoke version of the Peel chair with a thoroughly contemporary floral pattern.

The designer of Peel, Olav Eldøy, gets inspiration from nature and –
especially from the sea – an inspiration that can be observed in the lines of his products.
The Peel chair was specially designed to provide total relaxation as well as creating an elegant piece of furniture; the structure of the chair was influenced by the shape and function of a falling orange peel and its purpose to protect its contents, to embrace them and care for them.
Tord Boontje, the fabric designer, is also inspired by nature, so the design of the chair and its upholstery has a natural affinity.

This fabric called “Happy” is not in Variér’s standard collection, but can be ordered as a special edition.
