Digital music, ripped from CDs and stored on computer has never been so popular – but for many people the music is stuck on their computer or their iPod.
Sonos are hoping to change all that with the Sonos Digital Music System, which they hope will free digital music, so that it can be enjoyed throughout the home.
The Sonos Digital Music System has two main components – the Sonos Zone Player, and the Sonos Controller. You simply put one zone player in each room where you want to listen to your digital music collection, and connect speakers.
Connect one of your Zone Players to the computer where you store your music – and all the other Zone Players will communicate wirelessly – so you can have music throughout your home without running wires everywhere.
The Sonos Controller has a full colour screen, for displaying playlists and cover art, and a scroll wheel that makes navigating your music collection a snap.
Pictured is the introductory bundle containing two Sonos Zone Players and a Sonos Controller, total cost £949. Just add speakers.
