- The proprietary ‘PowerDock’ connector adds a luxury level of functionality to the ‘dock’ genre.
- When the iPod/iPhone is removed, the motorised PowerDock spins closed and the sensitive iPod/iPhone 30-pin connector disappears into the cabinet; to reconnect, simply touch the GenevaSound S, and the motorised PowerDock spins.
- The ‘TouchLight’ control system is a backlit, touch-sensitive control panel; the controls are invisible until a hand reaches for the cabinet – withdraw the hand, and the backlight disappears.

The TouchLight panel makes the Model S user-friendly in low-light environments like the bedroom and helps when the system is close at hand, or when the use of the supplied IR remote control is inconvenient.
