The Hovering Elegance Of Louis Poulsen’s Enigma 425

Hovering Elegance Of The Enigma 425 From Louis Poulsen Louis Poulsen’s Enigma 425 pendant was born in pursuance of a high quality soft, glare free light spreading to the whole space; it is a downscaled version of Japanese designer Shoichi Uchiyama’s original design.

The Enigma is a delicate and unobtrusive fixture, its hovering elegance making it ideal for any type of architecture and interior decoration.

Looking up at the pendant from underneath the sequence of shades creates a gradation, producing a beautiful harmony and a sense of well being.

Suspended in thin steel wires, the shades are made from acrylic material; on the upper side the shades are textured, a detail that softens the distribution of up-light, contrasting with the lower sides, which are polished.

Enigma shares the lighting philosophy of glare-free, comfortable light with every other home lighting fixture from Louis Poulsen.
