Hillarys new Venetian blind collection is a diverse, up to the minute mix of bold bright colours, contemporary patterns and textures, cool metallics, earthy tones and an enhanced range of gorgeous shimmer effects.
“From the catwalk to the high street, current trends are all about pattern and strong colour,” says Sarah Quilliam, head of product design; “Our new Venetians collection picks up on those themes and features some really unusual designs such as Paisley Gold, metallic Treadplate and Sparkle Black, a lustrous shimmering black shot through with gold.”
There are more than 90 different slats to choose from in 12 different groups, ranging from classic Stripes and the candy-coloured deliciousness of Ice Cream to the pulsating vibrancy of Rio Carnival and the seventies disco feel of Shimmer.
The Venetians are available in 4 different slat widths* – 15mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm; “Size is really a matter of taste,†says Sarah, “although the light-filtering properties do vary slightly with more light coming through, the wider the slatâ€. (*Only selected blinds are available in all four slat widths).
Featured here is: – Grey and mulberry, which is a sophisticated and contemporary combination that also works well with an element of surprise, created by introducing a strong accent colour.
