Oxfam Unwrapped A Small Gift – Big Difference

Oxfam Unwrapped Small Gift - Big DifferenceLooking for a way to make a small Christmas charitable gift, then look no further – Oxfam’s poverty busting activities and services are neatly packaged into small gifts with a big difference, with their Oxfam Unwrapped project!

HOW IT WORKS:

Choose a gift
There’s masses of choice – from goats and cows to teachers and health workers – you can even help build a bog if you like.

What you get
Now you’ve selected a gift you can choose to send a printed gift card that features a nice little picture of the gift; there are plenty to choose from.

If you want to make your gift that little bit sweeter you can add a box of fair-trade chocolates, or a little gift book that explains how Oxfam Unwrapped gifts help change lives.

You change lives
Oxfam Unwrapped always gets your gift to where it’s needed most, and gifts are sourced in the country they’re used in wherever possible.

SOME EXAMPLES:

Safe water for 10 people – £10
Few gifts are more important than this. Your gift helps set up or maintain a safe water supply, whatever the circumstances, in whatever form it’s needed.
E.g. Set up a school or village for the first time, or restore the supply after an emergency.

Feed a family – £7
Emergency rations are a priority for crisis-hit families and this gift is the edible equivalent of first aid. Oxfam will be there with the essential eats – grain, beans, oil, salt and sugar – to keep everyone going until normality is restored…

5 bags of seeds £10
Sow the seed of self-sufficiency by filling these sacks with quality crops-to-be. Oxfam will get them to local farmers with the need for seed. They can be stored in a seed bank for harder times or sown to grow crops to eat or sell.
And lots more…………….
