Siemens has introduced its first pair of black laundry kitchen appliances in the shape of a matching washing machine and tumble dryer, models WM14S79BGB and WT46S59BGB respectively.
Both new 60cm wide appliances boast the very latest technology with LCD visual programme progress display and total Textile Management system, to ensure that the laundry is treated with utmost care; both models offer an extra large capacity of 7kg (15lbs).
The new Automatic washing machine has earned an APlus energy rating and A for washing; a choice of 15 programmes plus an in built stain removal system for 14 different everyday stains.
This washing machine can cope with increased wash loads of all fabric types, in addition to regular programmes, there are options for easy care darks, blouses, lingerie, curtains, hand wash and a new rapid 15 minute programme.
Automatic functions such as an auto load and detergent recommendations, can if you wish, take the programming decisions entirely out of your hands.
The matching black Condenser tumble dryer (Energy rating: B), provides a choice of 15 alternative drying programmes, including the new Rapid Dry option and anti crease cycle to minimise ironing time.
Inside the machine, a special paddle action guarantees gentle treatment for total fabric care – delicate fabrics like wool and lingerie are totally safe in this dryer.
Black is making a major comeback in kitchens this year – a Siemens black dishwasher is already in the line up and an American fridge freezer is to be launched shortly.
