Create a Personal Storyboard
Start by imagining yourself in the kitchen and think about the way you like to cook, entertain or spend time with friends and family. Cut out pictures of kitchens that inspire you, collect samples and build up a storyboard of styles, appliances, colours and materials. Add an outline plan of your kitchen with dimensions and positions of windows and doors. Now you’re ready to speak to the experts.

Kitchen specialist John Lewis of Hungerford really can boast it offers the best-painted finish in the kitchen industry, after its Gloss paints were independently tested and awarded the highest rating available.

In tests by the Satra Technology Centre, the Gloss paint finish that the company specialises in, scored the maximum of 5 points in all 17 categories, from resistance to wet and dry heat to marking by liquids, oils and solvents, which means they are certified for ‘severe usage’, the highest possible rating.Â

There are 39 wood veneers in total. Using the traditional craftsmen’s knowledge and expertise in hand selecting veneers, Domina MakeUp woods are hand matched to ensure a seamless flow of grain from door to door.
