Free Lessons with every Garden Trampoline from Super Tramp

Super Tramp, Europe’s leading designer and manufacturer of trampolines has launched a new trampolining safety initiative.

They are offering two free trampolining lessons with the purchase of every new garden trampoline in its range. The free lessons vouchers can be used at participating trampoline clubs throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.

The scheme even has the blessing of RoSPA, who say “A scheme such as this which gives purchasers of trampolines the opportunity to be trained in their use by coaches has to be welcomed as a very good idea.”

Crocus Garden Wins at Chelsea Flower Show

Tom Stuart Smith Garden by Crocus at The Chelsea Flower Show

Crocus, the gardening website which specialises in plant sales, has just won “Best in Show” with their Tom Stuart Smith / Daily Telegraph garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

They provided all the plants for the garden created by top designer Tom Stuart Smith.

Enclosed on two sides by alternating sections of hornbeam hedge and rusty steel wall, Tom’s garden was a design of contrasts. The garden featured a narrow rill that was partially hidden by naturalistic planting while two staggered groups of Viburnum rhytidophyllum framed views into the garden and provided height.

Garden Planter from Maggie Curtis

Here is a beautiful teracotta garden planter from the ceramic artist Maggie Curtis.

The planter was made as part of a bespoke commission for a house designed by Charles Voysey, the Arts & Crafts Architect (1857-1941). The whole commission included gate post finials, an ornate name plaque and planters.

Maggie is a freelance ceramic artist who makes client based bespoke Architectural Ceramics which include sculptural ridge tiles, finials and capitals, embossed tiles, friezes, garden sculpture, restoration and reproduction work. Her work follows the tradition of Victorian Terracotta.
