Frenchstone offers a fascinating range of reproduction fountains in cast stone, all of which are faithful copies of original period garden ornaments from various regions of France.
The fountains are aged and manufactured in the heart of France by a team of highly skilled craftsmen, using a traditional process developed in the 19th century.
The original Grande Fontaine Avec Bassin Fountain is made from Volvic stone and is classified as an 18th century “historic monument” (it can still be seen in Champeix, Auvergne).
The reproduction fountain pictured here is fashioned from cast stone in a choice of finishes – Aged stone or Natural stone.
