Sharp has introduced the XV-Z21000 high performance home cinema to its home theatre projector range.
The new full HD projector boasts picture quality and clarity to rival the ‘big screen’, offering a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and a stunning contrast ratio of 12,000:1, at a maximum brightness of 1,000 ANSI lumens.
For the first time Sharp has equipped a projector with a dual iris system with three-step aperture settings, so that the ideal ratio between brightness and contrast settings can be adjusted via the remote control.
Sharp’s XV-Z21000 native contrast ratio is measured for each individual scene frame, thus maintaining a stable overall contrast ratio of 12,000:1 regardless of scene light level.
The integrated Colour Management System permits users to adjust the colours of the picture precisely to their individual preferences using the three primary colour wheel.
Connectivity is perfectly suited for High Definition pictures, with two HDMI interfaces, DVI-I connector and an analogue component input allowing simultaneous connection of numerous HD sources, which can be displayed in 1080p, 1080i or 720p.
The XV-Z21000’s 1.35x optical zoom lens achieves a 100inch (diagonal) projection image, from a distance of just 4.1m; Thanks to its DLP® technology, the entire optical system is sealed against dust and smoke.
The projector also includes a trigger terminal for operating an electric motorised screen when the power is turned on and off.
Staying in has never been so attractive to Cinema lovers!
