bulthaup b2 is an open and mobile kitchen that can be added to and tailored to suit each individual’s personal style and requirement.
The new group of freestanding elements, is the logical continuation and reinvention of the kitchen workbench and defines the ‘kitchen workshop’ in its original meaning.
Comprising of only 3 pieces – a workbench, kitchen tool cabinet and appliance housing cabinet, bulthaup b2 follows the principle of “clearing away the superfluous.â€
The 3 elements are designed with specific functions:
- The workbench is for the fire and water points.
- The kitchen tool cabinet holds the crockery and cooking utensils, as well as spices and food.
- The appliance cabinet houses the oven, dishwasher and refrigerator.
Opening the internal storage doors provides an overview of the entire kitchen domain.
Everything needed for cooking is visible at a glance and within easy reach
The intelligent compaction of the storage space makes pullouts and drawers unnecessary – a revolution away from the traditional fitted kitchen, which hides things away.
Even the diversity of the units is sharply minimalist; the few basic types and materials include, oak and walnut veneers and worktops made from stainless steel, oak, walnut and grey sandstone.
