The mechanism is hidden within the shutters themselves, so adjusting one louvre will move all the others to the same position.
The absence of the traditional central tie rod gives a clean, architectural appearance, ideal for modern, minimalist interiors. Manhattan shutters are constructed from solid tulip-wood, and are custom made. You can order them in a range of finishes from paint to leather, and they’re also available in a range of attractive hardwoods including Oak, Teak and Walnut.
Manhattan window shutters are priced from £356 per square metre.
