Esben Hanefelt Kristensen’s fairytale motifs are perfect for this illustrious series of tableware created in association with Royal Copenhagen, which includes three porcelain towers and two bonbonnières
A veritable throng of imaginative creatures romp across the imaginary universe depicted on each piece.
On the largest tower animals play the leading role, while plants, flowers and trees form a decorative background.
The middle tower features a prince on a reindeer riding towards a princess at the tower window.
Birds dominate the small tower – young are being fed, a bird of prey is gazing out over the landscape and a kingfisher is hunting a dragonfly.
The towers are richly ornamented, each having a top with a gold base of 24-carat gold with a star-studded dome on a dark-blue background and each box has its own decorative animal motif.
The towers are priced from £410.00 and the boxes retail at £95.00.
