These stunning Moroccan pouffes are handmade exclusively for Bohemia in Marrakech, Morocco.
In a small, family-run workshop in the heart of the old medina, a team of skilled craftsmen take great pride in the leatherwork they create, helping to preserve this centuries old traditional craft.

Traditional Drum Pouffes.
- The finest quality leather is sourced for these pouffes, which are available in natural or oiled finishes, or dyed by hand in a wonderful selection of jewel-like colours.
- The Bohemia buying team is sensitive to the traditional aesthetic of the pouffes, but is able to introduce design elements and colour palettes, which have more appeal to the contemporary home market.
- Traditional, or drum-shaped pouffes provide an elegant, pared down version of the trend; these offer a versatile range of uses from footstool to side table, to additional seating, for the most contemporary of interiors. Priced from £65.
This season Bohemia has introduced faux leather designs in lustrous metallic or jewel-coloured material, for customers who prefer a leather-free option.
All of their pouffes are stuffed using a thick layer of recycled wool felt and coir (coconut fibre).
Coir offers a very close match to the original and authentic camel hair filling and gives a satisfying weight and density to the pouffe. Both the woolen felt and coir are naturally fire retardant and the coir is a 100% organic material.
