A recent survey carried out for BuildStore by YouGov revealed that we are a nation of self builders at heart including:<\/p>\n
42% of people are interested in building their own homes and would like to build from scratch.<\/p>\n
42% \u00c2\u00a0would incorporate Eco products – wind turbines and solar panels in their own homes.

\n44% blame cost as the main reason stopping them from building their own home; however on average, building your own home can result in\u00c2\u00a0an instant profit of around 30% and self built properties are VAT exempt thus reducing the cost.<\/p>\n
