The new Venetien Red has been added to their Organic Cotton table linen range; made in Portugal to the highest standard, with mitred corners, deep hems, and beautiful contrast stitch detailing on the runners and placemats.<\/p>\n
Ochre & Ocre take great care when designing their ranges to ensure the colours can easily be mixed and matched; the palettes are based on natural French Ochre powders, initially limited to just 5 shades.<\/p>\n

Ochres are mined from coloured clays that are found as a soft deposit, intermingled with pockets of harder crystalline iron ore.<\/p>\n
They exist all over the world, and can vary considerably in colour depending from where they are mined, from the yellowish brown of Italian Terre di Sienna, to the reddish brown of Spanish Ochre.<\/p>\n
