Bazaar Velvet has added stunning new rug designs to its collections, in response to The Botanical Discovery fashion for spring/summer next year. Their aim is to inspire us to introduce nature into our homes, in the shape of butterflies, bugs and birds.
Jurgen Dahlmanns, the Eden range designer, has brought still life and natural images into his rug designs:
For example the Eden No.09 Rug (pictured here) depicts anatomical sketches of grasshoppers, butterflies and other insects that look at the natural world with a Darwinian like eye, just the thing to add a touch of the unreal to your home decoration.
The Birds Of Paradise Rug features a brilliant honeysuckle background, whilst the Candy Rug incorporates floral, with a striking wash of yellows, corals, and greys.
Crafted in traditional fashion by expert Tibetan weavers with the fine quality dyed hand-spun Himalayan wools and lush Chinese silks, the rugs are contemporary masterpieces that you can customize to your specifications by changing weaves, colours and textures.
Priced from £350 per sq.m.
