Interiors with a botanical twist have been popular for a couple of seasons now, however, the hot new trend for Summer 09 is entomological in nature.
Yes, this season, our homes will be positively buzzing with fabrics and furnishings portraying insects and creepy crawlies.
A perfect example is this ‘Dragonfly’ Roman blind, designed by Clarissa Hulse and manufactured by contemporary blinds specialist eclectics.
“People have long taken inspiration from nature†says Jemima Locke, Marketing Manager for eclectics; “It’s all about bringing the outside in; we’ve shared our homes with all manner of flora and fauna for some time now, this is simply an extension of the trendâ€.
