A Chesney’s fireplace always creates a grand focal point in any room and in the winter months this can be a feature, which looks great while also being a source of warmth and light.
However in the summer, how can you draw attention to the striking architectural presence of a Chesney’s fireplace in a different way?
Dressing the fireplace with seasonal blooms and foliage will show it in a fresh light:     Try using catkins and willows to drape on and around the fireplace to maintain its focus in the room.     Cascading foliage, flowers trailing to the floor from the mantel, a grate crammed full – and tumbling over delightfully with honeysuckle and jasmine, can be bright and romantic.    Change the static and characterless vase of dried flowers, often stuck in the hearth when the fireplace is not in use, to make your Chesney’s fireplace a    joyful and colourful centrepiece for the summer!
