After almost a lifetime working with iron, marble and bronze, Danish artist Jens-Flemming Sorensen has turned his attention to porcelain, with a new collection of bowls and dishes for Royal Copenhagen.<\/p>\n
“I wanted to produce a collection that bore a sculptural stamp, but the most important thing was to create art that could be used in everyday life<\/em>” said Sorensen.<\/p>\n Royal Copenhagen Globes are indeed works of art with a practical function: – The bowls are ideal for seasonal flowers, or can be used for chocolates or sweets. The dishes could be used for fresh berries, or even caviar.<\/p>\n There are Globe pieces in a range of sizes and designs.
