Ono vertical blinds from New House Textiles

Vertical blinds may not be as fashionable as they used to be, but that’s about to change if New House Textiles have anything to do with it.

They’ve just launched a range of vertical window blinds in exciting contemporary fabrics, and a modern palette of colours ranging from neutral, through metallic, to exciting and vibrant.

All New House Textiles vertical blinds are made to measure, but as a guide, a 4ft x 4ft blind in the exciting ‘Ono’ design (pictured - complete with holes!) would cost £150.

Panel Fold from Silent Gliss

Panel Fold blinds from Silent Gliss

This is the Panel Fold system from Silent Gliss - an interesting alternative to traditional vertical blinds. Panel Fold is particularly suited to rooms with a large area of floor-to-ceiling glass.

When you want the blinds closed, they slide across the glass and will always hang perfectly, as there are aluminium bars sewn into the bottom of each panel. When you want to admire the view, the panels stack against each other at the side of the window, optimising glass area and room space.

The fabric panels hang from their gliders by a Velcro carrier, so it’s easy to change fabrics and transform the look of your room whenever the fancy takes you. The system can even be electrically operated.

Panel Fold systems from Silent Gliss cost from £1,200.
