Drummonds have introduced The Swale Bathtub, the latest addition to their extensive range of cast iron baths.
The Swale Bath is double-ended (ideal for sharing) and provides all of the comfort of Drummonds’ bigger baths, but with a compact size, making it perfect for small bathrooms.
- The new bath’s narrow rim gives it a particularly elegant profile and it’s scroll feet present a modernist look, plus there is an option for ball and claw feet.
- In addition, the exterior can be completed to order, with choices from lacquered and polished metal, to a cladding of copper or brass, or hand painted, or with a special hand finish, including gold leaf.
Drummonds take several weeks to produce one bath; a long-established process that involves casting the metal, enamelling, shot-blasting and a lengthy dry-frit procedure, resulting in a snow white extremely hard-wearing enamel surface.
Their brass-ware is made with precision too, using a lost wax process, which results in classic bathroom-ware, fit to resist the test of time.
The Swale bathtub dimensions: Length: 1700mm X Height: 630mm X Width: 750mm. Drummonds’ bathtubs are priced from £3210.
